The result of four days of doing battle with Gimp:

Things you may be able to tell from the photo:
- Gokudera's bottom half is slightly crooked.
- His right arm is shorter than his left and both arms are a little too thick for the body.
- The collar of his shirt is penciled in because my printer is running out of color ink.
- His head and hair is a little too big for his body.

The blasted program hung on me on an average of twice a day, causing much banging of fists and gnashing of teeth, but nevertheless I have never been prouder of myself. \O/ There're still a lot of changes to be made to the pattern, such as moving up the black bands on his arms so that it's obvious that they are actually wristbands and not biker gloves (although I bet 59 has those in his wardrobe somewhere as well), shrinking his head and hair to a more proportionate size and most importantly, darkening the outlines so that I don't have to squint and bring my face THIS close to the table again just to make sure I don't accidentally slice off one of his vital parts while making him.

A comparison between Gokudera ver 1.1 and ver 1.0 AKA small!Hulk!59:

The brother's comment upon seeing the prototype: "SO MUSCULAR!" And 59!1.0 does indeed look like he's been taking steroids of the wrong sort. I still find him kind of cute though, like a chibi nightclub bouncer or a thug or something.

The rest of my little paper army:

There are about six dolls squeezed into each case, both front and back. Not all the cases are filled due to the different sizes of the dolls, but the brother is convinced that I'm going to make enough to stack them to the ceiling one day. AND THEN I'LL TAKE OVER THE WORLD MWAHAHAHA.

I'm thinking of doing either school uniform!Hibari, Varia Ring arc!Gokudera or Irie next, because their patterns look like they'd be easier to translate to paper. And also because I look at Tsuna, Yamamoto and Byakuran's gravity-defying hair and despair.(Well, 80 not so much, but 27 and 100 YES.)
